۞ No! I swear by the positions of the stars – 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 That it is a Recitation honourable. 77 [conveyed unto man] in a well-guarded divine writ 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It has been revealed by the Lord of all the worlds. 80 So is this the matter regarding which you laze? 81 And make [the thanks for] your provision that you deny [the Provider]? 82 So why was it not, when the soul reaches up to the throat, – 83 And ye the while (sit) looking on,- 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 why, then, if you are not subject to Our command, 86 Bring back the soul (to its body), if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 and if he is of those who are on the Right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 And if he be of the beliers, the erring, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 He will burn in Hell. 94 Most surely this is a certain truth. 95 So exalt the Name of your Lord, the Great. 96
