۞ Nay, I swear by the places of the stars - 75 (and that is indeed a mighty oath, did you but know it) 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 In a Book kept hidden 78 Which none can touch except the purified. 79 It is a revelation sent down from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, but when the soul leaps to the throat of the dying 83 Whereas you watch at that moment! 84 We are nearer to him than you, but you do not see 85 Then why do ye not,- If you are exempt from (future) account,- 86 Do ye not force it back, if ye are truthful? 87 Then, if he (the dying person) be of the Muqarrabun (those brought near to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But, if he is of those who belied, and went astray, 92 a welcome of burning despair [awaits him in the life to come,] 93 And burning in hell. 94 This is indeed the indubitable truth. 95 So celebrate with praises the name of thy Lord, the Supreme. 96
