I swear by that which ye see. 38 and by what you do not see, 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured messenger; 40 And it is not the speech of a poet; how little do you believe! 41 Nor diviner's speech - little is it that ye remember! 42 (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if he [i.e., the Prophets] had forged this Discourse and thereafter ascribed it to Us, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 And not one of you could have withheld Us from him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 And lo! it is indeed an anguish for the disbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High. 52
