۞ NAY, I call to witness the coming-down in parts [of this Qur'an] 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 it is surely a noble Koran 77 inscribed in a well-guarded Book, 78 which none but the pure may touch; 79 A revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 80 Is it such a talk (this Quran) that you (disbelievers) deny? 81 And make it your provision that ye should belie it? 82 Then how is it that when the (dying) breath is withdrawn into the throat (and rattles), 83 and you are watching at that time 84 and while We are closer to him than you, although you see [Us] not: 85 why, then, if [you think that] you are not truly dependent [on Us,] 86 can you not cause that [ebbing life] to return - if what you claim is true? 87 Then if he is one of those drawn nigh (to Allah), 88 (There is for him) rest and provision, and a Garden of delights (Paradise). 89 And if he be of the fellows on the right hand, 90 he will be welcomed by the words: “Peace to you” from the People on the Right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 Then [for him is] accommodation of scalding water 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 This is indeed an utmost certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
