Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 and We helped them, so that they were victorious; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 Verily! They were two of Our believing slaves. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients' 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Salamun (peace) be upon Ilyasin (Elias)!" 130 In this way do We reward the righteous ones. 131 Indeed, he was of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his household, every one, 134 except for an old woman who remained behind. 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 And indeed you pass over them in the morning. – 137 and night: will you not take heed? 138
