Al-Qalam 2 of 2
Indeed, for the righteous with their Lord are the Gardens of Pleasure. 34 Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)? 35 What is the matter with you? How judge ye? 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 #NAME? 38 Or you have oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection that yours will be what you judge. 39 Ask them, who among them is a guarantor for it? 40 Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true. 41 The Day that the shin shall be laid bare, and they shall be summoned to bow in adoration, but they shall not be able,- 42 humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 I shall grant them some respite, for My plan is powerful. 45 Or dost thou (Muhammad) ask a fee from them so that they are heavily taxed? 46 Do they possess the knowledge of the unseen which confirms the truthfulness of their belief? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 If not that a favor from his Lord overtook him, he would have been thrown onto the naked shore while he was censured. 49 Then his Lord chose him, and He made him of the good. 50 The unbelievers wellnigh strike thee down with their glances, when they hear the Reminder, and they say, 'Surely he is a man possessed!' 51 Whereas it is not but an advice to the entire creation! 52

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
