Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 Then will We treat the Muslims like the criminals? 35 What is the matter with you? What sort of a judgement you impose! 36 Or have you a Book in which you read 37 and in which you find all that you may wish to find? 38 Or have We sworn a covenant with you which We are bound to keep till the Day of Resurrection, (a covenant requiring that whatever you ordain for yourselves shall be yours)? 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or have they "partners"? Then let them bring their "partners" if they are truthful! 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm! 45 Or askest thou them for a wage, and so they are weighed down with debt? 46 Or do they have knowledge of the unknown which they copy down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Were it not that favor from his Lord had overtaken him, he would certainly have been cast down upon the naked Found while he was blamed. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 Hence, [be patient,] even though they who are bent on denying the truth would all but kill thee with their eyes whenever they hear this reminder, and [though] they say: "[As for Muhammad,] behold, most surely he is a madman!" 51 Whereas it is not but an advice to the entire creation! 52
