Lo! for those who keep from evil are gardens of bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We then treat the (submitting) Muslims like the Mujrimun (criminals, polytheists and disbelievers, etc.)? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or, have you a Book from which you study 37 That you have surely therein what you choose? 38 Or have you oaths from Us, reaching to the Day of Resurrection? Surely you shall have whatever you judge! 39 Ask them: “Which of them can guarantee that? 40 Or do they have associates? Then let them bring their associates, if they speak truly. 41 On the day when the terrible torment approaches, they will be told (in a mocking way) to prostrate themselves, but they will not be able to do it. 42 Their eyes will be cast down,- ignominy will cover them; seeing that they had been summoned aforetime to bow in adoration, while they were whole, (and had refused). 43 So leave those who deny this Discourse to Me. We shall lead them step by step to (ruin) in a way they will not know. 44 for, behold, though I may give them rein for a while, My subtle scheme is exceedingly firm! 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or do they have any knowledge of the Unseen which they are now writing down? 47 So be thou patient under the judgment of thy Lord, and be not as the Man of the Fish, when he called, choking inwardly. 48 Had not a Grace from his Lord reached him, he would indeed have been (left in the stomach of the fish, but We forgave him), so he was cast off on the naked shore, while he was to be blamed. 49 But his Lord had chosen him and He placed him among the righteous. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
