Surely, the cautious shall have Gardens of Bliss with their Lord. 34 Shall We treat the Muslims like criminals? 35 What aileth you? How ill ye judge! 36 Or have you, perchance, a [special] divine writ which you study, 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 Ask them, which of them will guarantee that! 40 they will receive the same thing that the Muslims will? Do they have any witness to such an agreement? Let them bring out such witness, if they are truthful. 41 The Day the shin will be uncovered and they are invited to prostration but the disbelievers will not be able, 42 humbled shall be their eyes, and abasement shall overspread them, for they had been summoned to bow themselves while they were whole. 43 Hence, leave Me alone with such as give the lie to this tiding. We shall bring them low, step by step, without their perceiving how it has come about: 44 I shall respite them, My stratagem is firm. 45 Do you demand some recompense from them that would weigh them down with debt? 46 Or have they (the knowledge of) the unseen, so that they write (it) down? 47 So wait with patience for the judgement of your Lord, and do not be like (Jonah) of the fish who called (to his Lord) when he was choked with anger. 48 Had it not been for a favour from his Lord he would have been cast blame-worthy on a barren plain. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 When the unbelievers hear this Exhortation, they look at you as though they would knock you off your feet with their (hostile) glances. They say: “Surely he is afflicted with madness”; 51 [Be patient:] for this is nought else but a reminder [from God] to all mankind. 52
