Verily, for the Righteous, are Gardens of Delight, in the Presence of their Lord. 34 Shall We then make the Muslims like the culprits? 35 What has happened to you? How do you judge? 36 Have you a Scripture that tells you 37 That ye shall have, through it whatever ye choose? 38 Or have you taken a binding promise from Us which would hold till the Day of Judgement, that you will get whatever you demand? 39 Ask them (O Muhammad) which of them will vouch for that! 40 Or have they any partners? Let them bring their partners then, if what they say is true. 41 On the day when the Shin* will be exposed and they will be called to prostrate themselves, they will be unable. (Used as a metaphor) 42 Their eyes will be cast down, ignominy will cover them; they used to be called to prostrate (offer prayers), while they were healthy and good (in the life of the world, but they did not). 43 So leave to Me those who reject this message. We shall lead them step by step to their ruin, in ways beyond their ken. 44 A (long) respite will I grant them: truly powerful is My Plan. 45 Or, do you ask them for a wage, so that they are burdened with debt? 46 Or [do they think] that the hidden reality [of all that exists] is within their grasp, so that [in time] they can write it down? 47 So wait patiently for the judgment of your Lord, and be not like the companion of the fish, when he cried while he was in distress. 48 Had his Lord's grace not been bestowed upon him, he would have been cast away in disgrace upon that desolate shore. 49 Then his Lord chose him and made him of the righteous. 50 When the unbelievers hear the Reminder, they nearly strike you down with their glances, and say: 'Surely, he is mad' 51 But it is nothing less than a Message to all the worlds. 52
