But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 most surely, this is the word brought by a noble messenger, 40 It is not the word of a poet but only a few of you have faith, 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little is it that you mind. 42 It has been revealed by the Lord of the Universe. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand 45 Then We would have cut from him the aorta. 46 None of you would be able to prevent Us from doing this to him. 47 Surely it is a Reminder to the godfearing; 48 And most surely We know that some of you are rejecters. 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 And indeed, it is the truth of certainty. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
