Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2
I do not need to swear by what you see 38 And what you do not see 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 and neither is it - however little you may [be prepared to] take it to heart - the word of a soothsayer: 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 and then severed his life vein; 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 And indeed this Qur'an is an advice for the pious. 48 And behold, well do We know that among you are such as will give the lie to it: 49 Surely it is a sorrow to the unbelievers; 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Wherefore hallow thou the name of thy Lord, the Mighty. 52
