But nay! I swear by that which you see, 38 And all that ye see not 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 and is not - however little you may [be prepared to] believe it - the word of a poet; 41 Nor is this the speech of a soothsayer. Little do you reflect! 42 (It is) a sending down from the Lord of all the Worlds. 43 Now if he [whom We have entrusted with it] had dared to attribute some [of his own] sayings unto Us, 44 We surely had lain hold of him by the right hand. 45 then, We would surely have cut from him the aorta (vein) 46 and none of you could have held Us off from him. 47 Indeed, it is a Reminder to those who fear Allah, 48 but We know that some of you will cry lies. 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 for, verily, it is truth absolute! 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
