What is the matter with unbelievers that they stare at you with fixed gazes and hasten towards you 36 from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Doth every man among them hope to enter the Garden of Delight? 38 By no means! Surely We have created them of what they know. 39 I swear by the Lord of the easts and the wests that We have the power 40 To replace them by others better than they; and We are not to be outrun. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 Eyes lowered, shame attending. That is the day they have been promised! 44
