What aileth those who disbelieve, toward thee hastening. 36 [coming upon thee] from the right and from the left, in crowds? 37 Does everyone of them wish to enter the Garden of Bliss? 38 Not at all, for We have created them of what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able 40 to exchange them with others better than they; nothing can outstrip Us! 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they encounter that Day of theirs which they have been promised!- 42 the Day when they shall come out of their graves in haste, as if they were racing to a goal, 43 With their eyes lowered in fear and humility, ignominy covering them (all over)! That is the Day which they were promised! 44
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
