Al-Ma'aarej 2 of 2

What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you (Muhammad), 36 [To sit] on [your] right and [your] left in separate groups? 37 Does every person among them aspire to enter a garden of pleasure? 38 Nay, verily. Lo! We created them from what they know. 39 So I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We are certainly able 40 To bring better people than they in their place; and they will not be able to thwart Us. 41 So leave them to plunge in vain talk and play about, until they meet their Day which they are promised. 42 The day when they come forth from the graves in haste, as racing to a goal, 43 With eyes aghast, abasement stupefying them: Such is the Day which they are promised. 44

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
End of Surah: The Heights (Al-Ma'aarej). Sent down in Mecca after Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah) before The News (Al-Naba')
