Say, [O Muhammad], "I only invoke my Lord and do not associate with Him anyone." 20 Say: Lo! I control not hurt nor benefit for you. 21 Say: Surely no one can protect me against Allah, nor can I find besides Him any place of refuge: 22 (It is) only a delivering (of communications) from Allah and His messages; and whoever disobeys Allah and His Apostle surely he shall have the fire of hell to abide therein for a long time. 23 [The disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number. 24 Say: “I know not whether what you are promised is near or whether my Lord will prolong its term. 25 He [alone] knows that which is beyond the reach of a created being's perception, and to none does He disclose aught of the mysteries of His Own unfathomable knowledge, 26 Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him. 27 so that He may know that the messengers have delivered the messages of their Lord. He encompasses all that is with them and He keeps count of all things. 28
