The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir)
56 verses, revealed in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
O you (Muhammad SAW) enveloped (in garments)! 1 Rise up and warn! 2 Thy Lord magnify, 3 cleanse your clothes, 4 and defilement flee! 5 And bestow not favour that thou mayest receive more. 6 And for the sake of your Lord, be patient. 7 Finally, when the Trumpet is sounded, 8 That will be- that Day - a Day of Distress,- 9 and for the disbelievers, in particular, it will not be at all easy. 10 Leave him to Me whom I created alone, 11 And to whom I granted extensive wealth 12 And sons to be by his side!- 13 and to whose life I gave so wide a scope: 14 And who yet coveteth that shall increase. 15 Never will he receive more. He has been hostile to Our revelations. 16 I shall oblige him to (climb a slippery mountain in the Hell-fire called As-Sa'ud, or to) face a severe torment! 17 Indeed, he thought and deliberated. 18 May he be accursed, how he planned! 19 Again, may he be cursed how he plotted; 20 Then he thought; 21 then he frowned and scowled, 22 then he retreated and waxed proud, 23 Then he said: This is naught but enchantment, narrated (from others); 24 "This is nothing but the word of a human being!" 25 I will drive him into Saqar. 26 - Ah, what will convey unto thee what that burning is! - 27 It does not allow anyone to live, and neither does it leave anyone to die; 28 Darkening and changing the colour of man! 29 Over it are nineteen [powers]. 30 For We have caused none but angelic powers to lord over the fire [of hell]; and We have not caused their number to be aught but a trial for those who are bent on denying the truth - to the end that they who have been granted revelation aforetime might be convinced [of the truth of this divine writ]; and that they who have attained to faith [in it] might grow yet more firm in their faith; and that [both] they who have been granted the earlier revelation and they who believe [in this one] might be freed of all doubt; and that they in whose hearts is disease and they who deny the truth outright might ask, "What does [your] God mean by this parable?" In this way God lets go astray him that wills [to go astray,] and guides aright him that wills [to be guided]. And none can comprehend thy Sustainers forces save Him alone: and all this is but a reminder to mortal man. 31

ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
