By the moon 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 it is one of the greatest trials, 35 Warn the men. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 [Who will be] in gardens, questioning each other 40 Of evil-doers: 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 We indulged and persisted in useless disputes, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The intercession of their intercessors shall not benefit them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Rather each one of them desires that he should be given open Books. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 But none will keep it in remembrance except as Allah wills: He is the Lord of Righteousness, and the Lord of Forgiveness. 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
