No, by the moon! 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 by the brightening dawn, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 A warning for people -- 36 Unto him of you who will advance or hang back. 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens they will question 40 About Al-Mujrimun (polytheists, criminals, disbelievers, etc.), (And they will say to them): 41 "what led you into hell?" 42 They said, “We never used to offer the prayer.” 43 we fed not the needy, 44 we indulged in vain arguments along with those who indulged in them; 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 until the inevitable event overtook us.” 47 The mediation of no mediators will avail them then. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were affrighted asses, 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No! They do not fear the Hereafter -- 53 Yes indeed, this is an advice. 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
True are the words of God the Almighty.
