(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 to whoever among you desires to go forward, or lag behind. 37 Every soul will be in captivity for its deeds 38 Save the fellows of the right. 39 In Gardens they will question 40 From the guilty. 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They will answer: "We were not among those who prayed; 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 "And we used to deny the Day of Judgment, 46 Till death overtook us. 47 Then the intercession of the intercessors shall not profit them. 48 What aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away? 49 As if they were asses taking fright 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let anyone who seeks guidance do so. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
