No! By the moon 32 By the night when it departs. 33 and by the day when it dawns (with its radiance), 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul, for what it has earned, will be retained 38 Except those on the right side. 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 Concerning the culprits: 41 "What has caused you to enter Hell?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the poor; 44 We plunged in with the plungers 45 And we have been belying the Day of Requital. 46 till the Certain came to us.' -- 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 Let any who will, keep it in remembrance! 55 they will only take heed if God so wills: He is the Lord who is worthy to be feared: the Lord of forgiveness. 56
