Pray, "Lord, if you would show me that [the punishment] of which they have been warned, 93 then do not include me, my Lord, among these wrong-doing people." 94 And verily We are Able to show thee that which We have promised them. 95 [But whatever they may say or do,] repel the evil [which they commit] with something that is better: We are fully aware of what they attribute [to Us]. 96 and say, "My Lord, I seek refuge with You from the prompting of the devils. 97 And I seek refuge in Thee! O my Lord! from their presence. 98 lt ceaseth not until when death cometh to one of them, and he saith: my Lord! send me back. 99 “Perhaps I may do some good deeds in what I have left behind”; this is just a word that he utters from his mouth; and confronting them is a barrier until the day in which they will be raised. 100 Then, when the trumpet [of resurrection] is blown, no ties of kinship will on that Day prevail among them, and neither will they ask about one another. 101 Only those whose scales are heavier in the balance will find happiness. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces and they will abide therein with their faces distorted. 104 Were not My communications recited to you? But you used to reject them. 105 They shall say: O our Lord! our adversity overcame us and we were an erring people: 106 Our Lord, bring us forth out of it! Then, if we revert, we shall be evildoers indeed.' 107 God will say, "Stay there and do not speak to Me. 108 Surely there was a party of My servants who said: O our Lord! we believe, so do Thou forgive us and have mercy on us, and Thou art the best of the Merciful ones. 109 But you ridiculed them. So much so that out of (spite) for them you forgot to remember Me and laughed at them. 110 I have rewarded them this day for they were constant, and they have come to attainment." 111 God will ask them, "How many years did you live in your graves?" 112 They will say: "We stayed a day or part of a day: but ask those who keep account." 113 He will say: ye tarried a little indeed; would that ye had known that. 114 So do you think that We have created you needlessly, and that you do not have to return to Us? 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 He, who invokes another deity along with God, a deity of whose divinity he has no proof, will be brought to account by his Lord. Certainly, those who deny the truth shall never prosper. 117 And say thou: my Lord! forgive and have mercy, and Thou art the Best of the merciful ones. 118
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
