(Hell will never spare the disbelievers). 32 by the retreating night, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 surely (Hell) is one of the greatest Signs, 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 who will be in Paradise 40 About the criminals, 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 and we were wont to indulge in sinning together with all [the others] who indulged in it; 45 And we used to deny the Day of Recompense 46 “Till death overcame us.” 47 So no intercession of intercessors will be of any use to them. 48 Then what is wrong with them (i.e. the disbelievers) that they turn away from (receiving) admonition? 49 As if they were alarmed donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 No indeed; the truth is that they have no fear of the Hereafter. 53 Nay, verily, this is an admonition 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 And what advice will they heed, except if Allah wills? Only He deserves to be feared, and His only is the greatness of forgiving. 56
