No, by the moon! 32 And by oath of the night when it turns back. 33 By the morning when it brighteneth. 34 hell is certainly the greatest calamity. 35 As a warning to humanity - 36 a warning to everyone of you whether he would like to come forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is mortgaged for its own deeds. 38 except those of the right hand 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 about the sinners. 41 'What caused you to be thrust into the Scorching (Fire)' 42 They will reply: 'We were not among those who prayed 43 and we did not feed the poor, 44 and we plunged along with the plungers, 45 and belied the Day of Recompense 46 Till the Inevitable came unto us. 47 So there will not benefit them the intercession of [any] intercessors. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 As if they were frightened (wild) donkeys. 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Is it that everyone of them wants to receive a heavenly book addressed to him personally? 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 By no means! Verily this Qur'an is an admonition. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56
