Yes, never! By oath of the moon. 32 And the night when on the wane, 33 And by the Dawn as it shineth forth,- 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning for people -- 36 To him among you who wishes to go forward or remain behind. 37 Every person is a pledge for what he has earned, 38 save the Companions of the Right; 39 who shall be in the Gardens, and shall ask 40 concerning the sinners, 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They said, "We never used to offer the prayer." 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 And we used to call the day of judgment a lie; 46 "Until there came to us (the death) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 as if they were startled asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Forsooth, each one of them wants to be given scrolls (of revelation) spread out! 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they [who do not believe in the life to come] will not take it to heart unless God so wills: [for] He is the Fount of all God-consciousness, and the Fount of all forgiveness. 56
