Nay, and by the moon, 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 Surely it (hell) is one of the gravest (misfortunes), 35 It is a warning for mankind 36 To any of you that chooses to go forward (by working righteous deeds), or to remain behind (by commiting sins), 37 Every soul will be (held) in pledge for its deeds. 38 Except the companions of the right, 39 In gardens, they shall ask each other 40 about the sinners. 41 "What led you into Hell Fire?" 42 They will answer: “We were not among those who observed Prayer, 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 "But we used to talk vanities with vain talkers; 45 “And used to deny the Day of Justice.” 46 Till death overtook us. 47 The intercession of the intercessors shall then be of no avail to them. 48 Why then do they turn away from the admonition 49 As though they were asses startled. 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 Nay, but they do not [believe in and hence, do not] fear the life to come. 53 Nay! it is surely an admonition. 54 So whosoever willeth may heed it. 55 But none will remember, unless Allah wills, He is the Owner of fear, the Owner of forgiveness. 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
