No, by the moon! 32 by the retreating night, 33 The morning when it is unveiled, 34 surely it is one of the greatest things 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 to whoever of you desires to go forward or lag behind. 37 Every soul is held in pledge against its own deeds, 38 except the Companions of the Right. 39 In Gardens (Paradise) they will ask one another, 40 From the guilty. 41 [And asking them], "What put you into Saqar?" 42 They shall say: We were not of those who prayed; 43 and we did not feed the needy. 44 And we used to enter into vain discourse with those who engaged [in it], 45 and the Day of Judgment we were wont to call a lie 46 "Until there came to us (the Hour) that is certain." 47 So no intercession will avail them. 48 So what is the matter with them that they turn away from the advice? 49 like frightened donkeys 50 That had fled from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means. In fact they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 Nay, this surely is an admonition: 54 so whoever wills shall remember it. 55 But they will not benefit from it unless Allah Himself so wills. He is worthy to be feared; and He is worthy to forgive (those that fear Him). 56
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir). Sent down in Mecca after Unknown Person (Al-Muzzammil) before The Key (Al-Faatehah)
