▼ 74 The Hidden Secret
Al-Muddath-thir 2 of 2
Nay, verily: By the Moon, 32 and by the night when it recedes, 33 And by oath of the morning, when it spreads light. 34 This is but one of the mighty (portents), 35 A warning to mankind,- 36 For the one among you who wishes to come forward or stay back. 37 [On the Day of Judgment,] every human being will be held in pledge for whatever [evil] he has wrought 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 in Gardens they will question 40 about the sinners. 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 and neither did we feed the needy; 44 We used to wade (in vain dispute) with (all) waders, 45 and rejected the Day of Judgment 46 until there came to us the certainty. 47 So the intercession of the intercessors will not benefit them. (The disbelievers will not have any intercessor.) 48 Then what is wrong with them that they turn away from admonition, 49 As they were frightened asses 50 Fleeing from a hunter, or a lion, or a beast of prey. 51 Indeed, each one of them desires to be given unrolled scrolls. 52 No! But they do not fear the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So whosoever will (let him read it), and receive admonition (from it)! 55 And they will not heed unless Allah willeth (it). He is the fount of fear. He is the fount of Mercy. 56

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
