Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 and the severally severing 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 excusing or warning, 6 surely, that which you have been promised is about to fall! 7 When the stars are obliterated, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 To which Day has this task been deferred? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 And We shall let them be followed by those of later times: 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 which We then placed in a secure repository 21 For a certain appointed time, 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed in it lofty and broad stablisers, and gave you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 Neither having the coolness of the shade nor availing against the flame. 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 40
