Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth in swift succession, 1 And by the winds that blow violently, 2 And those that revive by quickening, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Verily that which ye are promised is about to befall. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 When the mountains are scattered (to the winds) as dust; 10 And when the apostles are collected at the appointed time, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 Thus do We deal with the Mujrimun (polytheists, disbelievers, sinners, criminals, etc.)! 18 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 until an appointed time? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 24 Made We not the earth to be a housing 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 As if they were tawny camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 37 That will be a Day of Decision! We have brought you and the men of old together! 38 So if you have any plot to devise against Me, then devise it. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
