Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (winds) sent forth in quick succession, 1 Which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 by those who bring down the reminder, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and when the mountains are scattered like dust, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 to what day shall they be delayed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 See that We had the power to do so. Great indeed is Our power to do what We will. 23 Ah woe, that Day! to the Rejecters of Truth! 24 Did We not make the earth as a gathering place 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 Proceed to that which you denied. 29 Go to the shadow with three ramifications, 30 Neither shading nor availing against the flame. 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 (Or) as it might be camels of bright yellow hue. 33 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 40
