Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) sent forth one after another (to man's profit); 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those that bring down the Reminder 5 To cut off all excuses or to warn; 6 Surely what you are promised shall come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew what the Day of Decision is! 14 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 We then kept it in a safe place. 21 For a period (of gestation), determined (according to need)? 22 So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 [They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor given leave to make excuses. 36 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 Now, if ye have a trick (or plot), use it against Me! 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
