Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the loosed ones successively 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Indeed, what you are promised is to occur. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the heaven is opened 9 and when the mountains crumble into dust 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 What do you know what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth. 15 Destroyed We not the ancients? 16 We shall then send the latter after them. 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you from a humble fluid, 20 Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), 21 Till an appointed term, 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 For the living and the dead. 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 "(Which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce Blaze. 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 Seeming like yellow camels. 33 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor shall they be permitted so that they might excuse themselves. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If now ye have any wit, outwit Me. 39 Woe on the day unto the beliers! 40
