Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By the winds (or angels or the Messengers of Allah) sent forth one after another. 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 Which scatter clouds to their destined places, 3 Then separate them, one from another, 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to provide excuses for some and to give warnings to others: 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are put out, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the messengers are brought unto their time appointed - 11 For what day is it timed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to you what is the Day of sorting out? 14 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier peoples? 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Did We not create you out of a humble fluid 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 24 Have We not made the earth (as a place) to draw together. 25 the living and the dead? 26 place on it high mountains and provide you with fresh water? 27 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 28 Walk on to that which you called a lie. 29 "Depart ye to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 as black camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 40
