۞ So I call the placement of the stars to witness -- 75 And this surely is great evidence if you can understand -- 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 Only they can reach it who are clean (of mind). 79 It is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds. 80 Then is it to this statement that you are indifferent 81 And have ye made it your livelihood that ye should declare it false? 82 Why, then, when the soul of the dying man reaches the throat, 83 and that hour you are watching 84 And We are nearer to it than you, but you do not see-- 85 Why then, if ye are not in bondage (unto Us), 86 do you not bring back his soul, if you speak truly? 87 But if he [the dying person] is one of those brought near to God, 88 For him shall be comfort, and fragrance and a Garden of Delight. 89 And if he was of the companions of the right, 90 Then upon you is the greetings of peace (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), from those on the right. 91 But if he is of the deniers and the errants, 92 For him is Entertainment with Boiling Water. 93 and will be scorched by the Fire. 94 Verily this! this is the very truth. 95 So glorify the name of your Great Lord. 96
God the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah). Sent down in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
