Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By those [winds] sent forth in gusts 1 By the raging hurricanes, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 To complete the argument or to warn. 6 Indeed what you are promised, will surely befall. 7 Thus, [it will come to pass] when the stars are effaced, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are made into dust and blown away. 10 and the appointed time to bring the Messengers together arrives, (then shall the promised event come to pass). 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will explain to thee what is the Day of Sorting out? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 Thus do We deal with the criminals. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 then placed it in a secure repository [the womb], 21 For a known period (determined by gestation)? 22 Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle? 25 for both the living and the dead? 26 And placed therein high mountains and given you to drink sweet water therein? 27 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 28 Depart to that which you belied! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 (Which yet is) no relief nor shelter from the flame. 31 The fire will shoot out sparks as big as huge towers 32 and as bright as a herd of yellow camels. 33 Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth! 34 This is a Day whereon they shall not be able to speak. 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
