Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 which then blow tempestuously 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 And by the Verses (of the Quran) that separate the right from the wrong. 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 excusing or warning, 6 Assuredly, what ye are promised must come to pass. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Judgement. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the men of old (for their evil)? 16 and make others settle after them in their land? 17 Thus deal We ever with the guilty. 18 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 19 Did We not create you from a worthless water (semen, etc.)? 20 and place it in a secure place 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe, on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 24 Did We not make the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and the dead, 26 and did We not firmly fix towering mountains on it and give you sweet water to drink? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 'Depart unto that which ye were wont to belie. 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 "Neither shading, nor of any use against the fierce flame of the Fire." 31 It will throw out sparks as logs of wood 32 like giant fiery ropes! 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 On that day they will not be able to speak, 35 neither be given leave, and excuse themselves. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples. 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
