Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By (the wind) those sent (as horses') mane (in succession), 1 And those that strike violently, 2 And by the winds that scatter clouds and rain; 3 and the severally severing 4 And those [angels] who deliver a message 5 To clear or to warn. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are made to lose their light, 8 And when the sky is riven asunder, 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 and when all the apostles are called together at a time appointed... 11 For what day is the time appointed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 Would that you knew about the Day of Judgment! 14 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 15 Did We not destroy the former generations? 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 In this wise We do with the culprits. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you of a mean fluid, 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 until an appointed time? 22 Then We facilitated (your birth). How well do We calculate! 23 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 Of the living and the dead? 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow three branched: 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 Verily it shall cast forth sparks like unto a castle. 32 "As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly)." 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be given permission, so that they can apologize. 36 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have brought you and the men of old together. 38 So if you have a plan, then plan against Me. 39 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 40
