In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
CONSIDER these [messages,] sent forth in waves 1 by (the angels) as swift as blowing winds, 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 by (the angels) who make a clear distinction between right and wrong 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 excusing or warning, 6 BEHOLD, all that you are told to expect will surely come to pass. 7 Then when the stars lose their lights; 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 The mountains reduced to dust and blown away, 10 And when the time of the Noble Messengers arrives. 11 For what day has the term [of all this] been set? 12 For the Day of Sorting out. 13 What will explain to you what the Day of Judgement is? 14 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 15 Did We not destroy many a nation of the earlier times? 16 Then did We follow them up with later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 On that day, woe upon those who have rejected God's revelations! 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 for a term pre-ordained? 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth to draw together to itself, 25 Both for the living and the dead, 26 And have placed therein firm, and tall mountains; and have given you to drink sweet water? 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Depart to a triple-massing shadow 30 [But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame." 31 that shoots sparks like dry faggots, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 34 That will be a Day when they shall not speak (during some part of it), 35 nor be allowed to proffer excuses! 36 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 37 This is the Day of Decision, We have assembled both ye and the ancients. 38 If you are cunning, then try your cunning against Me! 39 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
