Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 And those that strike violently, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 then the criterion (the verses of Koran), separating 4 and those (angels) dropping, reminding 5 to serve as an excuse or a warning. 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 and when the Messengers' time is set, 11 For what day is that time fixed? 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what knowest thou what the Day of Decision is? 14 On that day, woe will be to those who have rejected God's revelations! 15 Did We not destroy the ancients? 16 Thereafter We shall cause to follow them the latter ones. 17 This is how We deal with the guilty. 18 Alas the woe that day for those who deny! 19 Did We not create you from an insignificant drop of fluid 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 for an appointed term? 22 Thus have We determined [the nature of man's creation]: and excellent indeed is Our power to determine [what is to be]! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 The living and the dead, 26 And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water. 27 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 proceed towards the three-pronged shadow, 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 sparks like to golden herds. 33 Woe, that Day, to the deniers. 34 That will be a Day when they shall not be able to speak. 35 Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. 36 On that day, woe would be those who have rejected God's revelations! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 If now ye have any craft, try that craft upon Me. 39 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 40
