In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 by (the angels) spreading (the words of God) far and wide, 3 By those who winnow with a winnowing, 4 Then I swear by the angels who bring down the revelation, 5 to excuse some and warn others: 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 So when the stars are extinguished, 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 And when the mountains are blown away 10 And when the Messengers are gathered to their time appointed; 11 If one asks, "To which day have such calamitous events been postponed?" 12 For the Day of Decision. 13 And what will make you comprehend what the day of decision is? 14 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 Then caused the latter folk to follow after? 17 As such shall We deal with the sinners. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Did We not create you of a mean water, 20 which We then let remain in [the womb's] firm keeping 21 For a known calculated term. 22 Thus did We Plan and how excellent is Our planning! 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a housing 25 For the living and the dead. 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those who belied it! 28 "Go to what you used to deny; 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 affording neither shade, nor protection from the flames, 31 which - behold! - will throw up sparks like [burning] logs, 32 So like golden camels." 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the day on which they shall not speak, 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 37 That will be a Day of Sorting out! We shall gather you together and those before (you)! 38 So if you have any ploy, try it against Me! 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
