The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the angels who violently tear-out the souls of the disbelievers from their bodies, 1 by the angels who gently release the souls of the believers, 2 And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming 3 And those who race each other in a race 4 and by the angels who regulate the affairs, (you will certainly be resurrected). 5 The day the convulsive (first blast) shatters convulsively 6 And the second followeth it, 7 Many a heart will flutter on that day! 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 [And yet,] some say: "What! Are we indeed to be restored to our former state 10 "What! - when we shall have become rotten bones?" 11 They have said, "Such a resurrection will certainly be a great loss". 12 [But,] then, that [Last Hour] will be [upon them of a sudden, as if it were] but a single accusing cry 13 and behold! They will all come out in the open. 14 (Muhammad), have you heard the story of Moses 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go thou to Pharaoh for he has indeed transgressed all bounds: 17 and say, 'Will you reform yourself? 18 I shall guide you to your Lord so that you may perhaps have fear of Him". 19 Then Moses (went to Pharaoh and) showed him the Great Sign; 20 But [Fir'aun (Pharaoh)] belied and disobeyed; 21 Then he turned away in a hurry, 22 Then he gathered and cried aloud, 23 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high. 24 But Allah did punish him, (and made an) example of him, - in the Hereafter, as in this life. 25 Surely in that is a lesson for him who fears! 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
