The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat)
46 verses, revealed in Mecca after The News (Al-Naba') before Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the pluckers (the angels of death), violently plucking (the souls of the unbelievers), 1 By those (angels) who gently take out (the souls of the believers); 2 by the swimmers (angels) swimming gently 3 Then outpace the others swiftly 4 And who plan the implementation. 5 On the Day when a violent convulsion will convulse [the world], 6 And the second followeth it, 7 On that Day will [men's] hearts be throbbing, 8 and their eyes will be humbled. 9 They say: 'What, are we being restored as we were before, 10 Even after we are crumbled bones? 11 They say: "Then this returning will be a dead loss." 12 But it shall be only a single scare, 13 and behold, they are awakened. 14 Hath there come unto thee the history of Moses? 15 When his Lord called him in the sacred valley of Tuwa, 16 "Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed. 17 and say to him: 'Are you willing to be purified, 18 Do you want me to guide you to your Lord, so that you should fear Him?'" 19 So he showed him the great sign, 20 But he denied and disobeyed, 21 Further, he turned his back, striving hard (against Allah). 22 then, he gathered, proclaimed, 23 “I am the supreme lord of you all.” 24 So God seized him with the chastisement of the Last World and the First. 25 In this, behold, there is a lesson indeed for all who stand in awe [of God]. 26

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
