Are you more difficult to create or the heavens? He built it, 27 High has He reared its vault and formed it in accordance with what it was meant to be; 28 And He made dark its night and brought out its light. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 In order to benefit you and your cattle. 33 But when there comes the greatest catastrophe (i.e. the Day of Recompense, etc.), 34 The Day when man will remember that for which he strove, 35 and Hell is there for all to see, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And chose the life of the world, 38 surely Hell shall be the refuge. 39 But as for him who feared the Station of his Lord and forbade the soul its caprice, 40 Verily, Paradise will be his abode. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
