And [mention] when Moses said to his servant, "I will not cease [traveling] until I reach the junction of the two seas or continue for a long period." 60 But when they reached the Junction, they forgot (about) their Fish, which took its course through the sea (straight) as in a tunnel. 61 So when they had passed beyond it, [Moses] said to his boy, "Bring us our morning meal. We have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue." 62 He said, 'What thinkest thou? When we took refuge in the rock, then I forgot the fish-and it was Satan himself that made me forget it so that I should not remember it -- and so it took its way into the sea in a manner marvellous.' 63 Moses said, "That is exactly what we are seeking. They followed their own foot prints back (to the rock)." 64 So they found one of Our servants, on whom We had bestowed Mercy from Ourselves and whom We had taught knowledge from Our own Presence. 65 Moses said to him, "May I follow you on [the condition] that you teach me from what you have been taught of sound judgement?" 66 He (Khidr) said: "Verily! You will not be able to have patience with me! 67 “And how will you bear something which your knowledge does not encompass?” 68 Said Moosa, “Allah willing, you will soon find me patient and I will not do anything against your instructions.” 69 Said he, 'Then if thou followest me, question me not on anything until I myself introduce the mention of it to thee.' 70
