Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you stronger in constitution or the heaven He built? 27 He raised its height, and He has equally ordered it, 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 and the earth-after that He spread it out, 30 He brought forth from it its water and its pasturage. 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 All this was done as a means of enjoyment for you and your cattle. 33 When the great calamity comes, 34 The Day when man shall remember what he strove for, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 then he who transgressed 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 Verily, his abode will be Hell-fire; 39 However, those who had feared their Lord and restrained their souls from acting according to its desires. 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They will ask you [Prophet] about the Hour, saying, "When it will come to pass?", 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are only a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they behold it, it will be as if they had but tarried for an evening or the morn thereof. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
