Are you the harder to create or the heaven? He made it. 27 high above? 28 and He has made dark its night and brought forth its light of day. 29 And after that, the earth: wide has He spread its expanse, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 On that day man will recall all what he strove for. 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 For, unto him who shall have transgressed the bounds of what is right, 37 And who preferred the life of the world, 38 Then indeed hell only is his destination. 39 And for one who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from desire, 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee about the Hour,-'When will be its appointed time? 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is its finality. 44 You are but a Herald of Warning, for one who fears it. 45 The day when they will see it, it will seem as if they had not stayed on earth except for an evening or its morning. 46
