(People), is your creation harder for God than that of the heavens, which He created, raised and established 27 He raised its ceiling and proportioned it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 and thereafter spread out the earth, 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And the mountains! He established them firm: 32 all this as provision for you and your cattle. 33 When the great over-whelming event arrives, 34 on the Day when man will recall all his strivings, 35 And Hell made visible to him who can see, 36 Then, for such as had transgressed all bounds, 37 preferring the present life, 38 Will surely have Hell for his abode. 39 And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 They ask you: "When will the Hour be? When is its time fixed?" 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 To your Lord is the goal of it. 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
