Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 He has made its nights dark and its days bright. 29 And the earth, moreover, hath He extended (to a wide expanse); 30 He draweth out therefrom its moisture and its pasture; 31 And stabilized the mountains 32 As provision for you and your grazing livestock. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 The Day whereon man shall remember whatsoever he had striven for. 35 And the hell shall be made manifest to him who sees 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 and preferred the life of this world [to the good of his soul,] 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 And as for him who fears to stand in the presence of his Lord and forbids the soul from low desires, 40 indeed, their refuge shall be Paradise. 41 They will question thee concerning the Hour, when it shall berth. 42 (Muhammad), you do not know (when and how) it will come. 43 Its knowledge rests with your Lord. 44 Thou art but a Warner for such as fear it. 45 On the Day whereon they behold it, it will appear to them as though they had not tarried save an evening or the morn thereof. 46
