He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ He frowned and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (i.e. 'Abdullah bin Umm-Maktum, who came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) while he was preaching to one or some of the Quraish chiefs). 2 But what could tell thee but that perchance he might grow (in spiritual understanding)?- 3 Or become reminded so that the reminder should profit him? 4 But the self-sufficient, 5 So you are after him! 6 Yet it is not thy concern if he grow not (in grace). 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 and fears (Allah), 9 You neglect. 10 No indeed, this is a Reminder; 11 So whoso wills may give heed to it. 12 On honourable pages. 13 exalted, purified, 14 borne by the hands of scribes, 15 Honourable and obedient. 16 Perish Man! How unthankful he is! 17 Of what thing hath He created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 He makes his path easy for him. 20 then causes him to die and buries him, 21 and then, whenever He wishes, He will raise him back to life. 22 Nay, but (man) hath not done what He commanded him. 23 So man must look at his food. 24 [how it is] that We pour down water, pouring it down abundantly; 25 then We split the earth in fissures 26 Then We cause therein the grain to grow, 27 And Grapes and nutritious plants, 28 and olive trees and date-palms, 29 and dense-tree'd gardens, 30 And fruits and herbage 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 But when the Shout cometh 33 On the Day whereon a man shall flee from his brother, 34 and from his mother and father, 35 And his wife and his children, 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 Some faces that Day, will be bright (true believers of Islamic Monotheism). 38 Laughing, rejoicing at good news. 39 And many a face will be covered with dust on that day. 40 Darkness will cover them, 41 those will be ones who denied the truth and were immersed in iniquity. 42
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

Notes and Instructions
Practice memorizing the Quran (Hifz) with different levels from beginner to expert. Exercise pages hide some words depending on the level, also done in beautiful colors.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
