And the heaven! We have built it with might, and verily We are Powerful. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee therefore unto Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 50 And set not up with God another god; I am a clear warner from Him to you. 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed down (the saying) as an heirloom one unto another? Nay, but they are froward folk. 53 So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed. 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not desire from them any sustenance and I do not desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
